All Sales Are Final
RAD Hardwoods does not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds on lumber, slabs, or craft wood.
Wood is a natural material and it moves. Once a board leaves our yard, we have no way to know how it was stored, transported, milled, or acclimated, and those factors change the piece. For that reason every sale is final at the time of purchase or delivery.
Ask Us Before You Buy
We would much rather answer your questions up front than have you end up with the wrong material. Before you order:
- Ask for more photos. Tell us the product and we'll photograph the actual piece.
- Ask for exact numbers. We'll measure real thickness, width, length, and take a moisture reading.
- Tell us what you're building. If a species or a particular board is a poor fit for your project, we'll say so.

Order Errors and Shipping Damage
This policy covers buyer's remorse and material that didn't work out. It does not cover our mistakes.
If your order arrives and it is the wrong species, the wrong dimensions, or damaged before it shipped, contact us at radhardwoods@gmail.com within 48 hours of pickup or delivery with your order number and photos. We will replace the material or refund it.
For damage that happened in transit, note the damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves and photograph it, then contact us within 48 hours. Carriers deny claims that weren't noted at delivery, and there is nothing we can do after the fact. Full details are on our Shipping & Pickup page.
Order Cancellations
Orders can be cancelled for a full refund any time before they've been pulled or shipped. Once an order has been pulled for pickup or handed to a carrier, it can no longer be cancelled.
Custom milling and crated freight orders cannot be cancelled once work has started.
Unclaimed Pickup Orders
Pickup orders are held for 30 days. After that we return the material to inventory and the order is forfeited without refund. If you need more time, just call us — we're flexible when we know in advance.
